Our races, age group and PR’s are pretty much the same and we run a lot of the same races! Hopefully we will meet at a race someday soon! I was looking at your upcoming races and I don’t think I am running any of the same races. i was thinking about the La Habra 10K but I am not sure yet.

It would be great to meet up sometime! The La Habra 10K (and 5K) is a well-run race but I must disclose that it’s a two-loop course even hillier than the Brea 8K! Here’s my review from the 2012 race: https://fitfunmom.com/2013/03/12/flashback-2012-la-habra-10k-recap-and-review/ They have since changed timing companies so my complaint about that has been addressed. I am also forming a team for the iCureMelanoma 5K in Fullerton on May 3, 2014. It’s a trail race and there are two waves — competitive wave for those running 9 minute miles or faster, and an open wave for other runners/walkers. You can join either and still be on the team. I’ll be doing the open wave since I’ll be tapering for a half marathon the next weekend. Please let me know if you want to join Team Book It! and I’ll send you the registration info including a discount code. We’d be happy to have you! So far we have 19 people. http://icuremelanoma5k.org/
